The Downs, University Park Millennium Garden, University Park

University Park Campus is the independent campus of the University of Nottingham, England. Two or three miles from either a centre of Nottingham, the 330 acre (Single.Ternion kilometre²) places is one of a big university campuses in the United Kingdom, & residence to the majority of the University's 27,000 students. A campus contains Xii Halls of Residence, when well as faculty member & administrative buildings. A campus contains Long dozen listed buildings.

Gardens

A campus is widely regarded for the extent of its verdure, & regularly wins awards for its landscaping. Of particular note come a formal Jekyll Garden, allegedly designed by Gertrude Jekyll, next to Lenton and Wortley Hall; a walled Highfield Garden touching the Trent building, which is at home to the national collection of Canna; and a newly Millennium Garden, formally opened within 2000, which has won several awards. Additionally there exists extensive planting elsewhere around campus, particularly in lakeshore Highfields Park.
